I love my bjcm. Never tried a zapp but had a Quinny speedi which was bulky but great on the beach. The bjcm isn't great on beach/snow but it is a doddle to fold, pop in the boot, steer one handed thanks to the single handlebar, the harness is easy to use and clip up, the hood is amazing for low sun, drizzle and wind. Love it. My mclaren went straight to the tip.

BJCM. Dont get the Zapp Xtra - there's no comparison!

Thanks. We have the bjcm double, but soon DC2 will need a single - we have dc1's maclaren volo, but I don't really rate it and would prefer sth sturdier. Dc1 could use it now, too.

Or should I just stick w the volo?

Oh, and any ideas on where to get cheapest bjcm single?

We got ours from jl assuming their price promise would make them the cheapest.

... Posted too soon! I love my volo as an emergency toddler buggy, but for a child under 2, or one who still naps, the BJCM is fab. I've always kept coming back to it.

DD loved her zapp xtra, so did we, till she was about 14 months and learnt to tip it over at every opportunity. She didn't walk till 22months, at just 2 we still regularly use a bugy but we sold the zapp xtra as we felt it had become unsafefor her.
