Very interesting to hear it might be possible to keep the icandy, am waiting to try a buggy board on the existing pram as would rather not have to but new again. Thanks for all your suggestions, more research to be done now.

I have an I candy apple and have been using a lascal maxi buggy board with no problems at all. It works fine with the carrycot.just extend the handle full out and the toddler stands within the handle arc holding onto the carrycot. I've only just swapped over to the seat unit as dd2 is now 8 months and it's working fine too.

If it's just that the buggy board doesn't fit well with the carry cot I think you're a bit rash to buy a new buggy just for that. How long will you use the carry cot for really? It lasts 3 months with us max, we use the car seat on the buggy frame or the pushchair after that. If you gabe an icandy already then you must have invested a lot in that, they are not cheap, I would stick with it if I were you for the short period in question.

Nb there is now the lascal mini buggy board which may fit your icandy better - trying that would be a cheaper option than a whole new buggy.

I have the Oyster... Plenty of space behind carrycot with a buggy board if the handle is fully extended. I have oyster's own ride on board, muchucj easier to manoeuvre than the lascal board I had on my stroller.

We have Quinny buzz 3 - buggy board on & takes car seat/carrycot x

Lol. I find it def has te biggest space for the boarded child out of all I've tried.

lol I had this window open and replied but it must have been open a while. Sorry misdee I was too late smile

The Uppababy Vista could work as well - there's usually plenty on Ebay?

For ease f pushing, and space for the child on the board, check out the uppababy vista.

The maxi cosi elea is great from birth ( no need for carry cot). Plenty of room for lascal maxi buggy board too.

The Oyster is supposed to be great with the board as Tiggy suggests. Used bugaboo maybe an option too?

Thanks everyone, will investigate your suggestions. I should have been more specific, am looking for more pushchair in style but sadly not in Bugaboo budget. I have an icandy apple but there's not enough room behind carrycot for a buggy board and comfortable pushing so reluctantly looking to buy something new.

I would be looking at a Mutsy Evo. There's a huge amount of space for a buggy board. It takes a Maxi Cosi car seat. The pushchair is suitable from birth and you can get a carrycot in the package too. And its very reasonably priced too. The Babystyle Oyster and Bugaboo Cameleon also spring to mind...but as ihateparties says theres a lot of choice out there.

Nipper 360 single v2. Takes a Lascal buggy board, lie-flat suitable from birth, or the V2 has a carrycot that you can clip on. Takes Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix in the same slot you put carry cot into IYSWIM. Dead easy.

Do you have any other requirements? There are LOADS that fit your bill in basic terms really. When you say buggy do you mean buggy as in umbrella fold maclaren style, or any type of pushchair?

I feel I am searching for the impossible and hope that someone out there can suggest a suitable pushchair. I'm looking for a pushchair that is suitable from birth and has suitable space for a buggy board also to preferably to be compatible with a maxi cosi cabriofix car seat. Not too much to ask?

All suggestions, opinions gratefully received.
