Uppababy G-Luxe - anyone got one?

I've got an Uppababy Vista which I love, but think the time has come to switch to something lighter. The G-Luxe looks great altho I haven't physically got my hands on it yet. Has anyone tried one? How does it compare to, eg a Maclaren?

Hi disco, I was going to buy one and even started a thread about it.

In the end I went for what I would call the Maclaren equivalent, the Maclaren Triumph.

I bout the Triumph instead, simply for safety reasons. After literally about a month of researching, I found a review that said the GLuxe only had two supporting cross bars whereas the Maclaren has four. For me that was the deciding factor, even though the GLuxe has a few added features and weighs less.

After using the Triumph for at least a month now, I love it! I got a black one so it wouldn't look dirty quickly. The GLuxe has been reviewed as looking dirty quickly as well as the seat sagging down after a little while.

Otherwise, I would say it looks like a great pushchair if you are not using it as your daily one.

I use a Bee+ and use my Triumph for days I know I need something lighter and even more compact, which is quite often in London. The one hand fold on the Maclaren was another plus over the Gluxe for me.

In the end it comes down to what you specifically need it for. I did also go for the Maclaren because of the better customer service too.
