Best store for trying out tandems in London?

I'm looking for a tandem for my two boys (1 + 2,5 yo), since we need a narrower pushchair when we move to Woolwich, London in a couple of weeks.

My husband, who has already moved to London visited Mothercare on Oxford street today to check some tandem pushchairs out but they didn't really have that much to look at. Is there any store in London where they have a larger range of tandems to try? We would like to take a look on Britax B-Dual, a few P&Ts, Hauck Duett, Kids Kargo Duelette, iCandy Peach Blossom/Pear and others.

John Lewis usually has a good range but other than that I am sure someone else can help you. I just wanted to say that the Kidz Kargo Duellette is only sold online via Ebay but is definitely worth a good look.

I can always count on you, Tiggy! :) I actually checked the John Lewis web page and they only showed 4 or 5 tandems on the tandem page (only doubles). I guess they don't count P&Ts as tandems, because I can now find them if I search by brand.

Thanks for the info on the Kidz Kargo! Too bad it's only sold online because I would really like to try it :(

Can you get up to Kiddicare in Peterborough?

I have also concidered that possibility but unfortunately we can't go that far... When we arrive in London ( a saturday) we will only have a crappy single buggy and my husband goes to work on the following monday. We want to buy the tandem as fast as possible, so that me and the kids will be able to move more freely from the start. The plan is to try tandems with kids the same day we arrive and buy the one we like most as soon as possible after that.
