Hi everyone, im a newbie

Apologies if this is in the wrong thread.

I am in the process of looking at buggies and at the top of my list is the iCandy peach jogger. I want it with the carrycot and car seat

I am aware that retailers can't devalue the product by showing prices online - however, has anyone bought one and if so what were the prices. I've been quoted £900!

Ideally want it cheaper if I can get it cheaper - even though I know the iCandy range are expensive

Any help or advice appreciated

Hi, was that quote through a store like John Lewis or an independent retailer?

We got a peach a few months ago and cancelled our order with John Lewis as to get everything we wanted would have cost way over £1000.

I rang a couple of independent local retailers off the icandy website and found that they could basically make you a package deal around what you wanted. We'd already got our car seat so wanted a deal without one although the package we had in the end was only £20ish cheaper for not having a car seat. For £815 we got the pushchair unit, carrycot, car seat adaptors, footmuff, parasol and attachment clips.

The iCandy price list is on their website for download. The prices for the main items are fairly fixed - iCandy do have quite tight reins on retailers - but retailers are more likely to do a deal say if you buy a car seat as part of a package. There will be retailers who will do deals but a) iCandy don't allow retailers to put prices online b) they rarely give them over the phone c) iCandy encourage face to face sales so you would need to go into a retailer to place the order anyway and d) the Peach Jogger is a brand new product so deals are less likely right now. So the best way you will get a deal is by going round several local shops asking them face to face for their best prices. I dont know the price of a Peach Jogger but I would expect it to be heading for £1000 from newborn. But the Peach Stroller is the best single pushchair I have had and I 100% recommend it. The Jogger sounds fab!

The jogger looks absolutely gorgeous, I love the new fabrics too!

I'd start by emailing some retailers to save a bit of time. At the worst you might get a couple of quotes and then be able to use those to do some bargaining when you go to a store. Often JL will price match too.

Good luck!

I can't see the price list but I believe the Special Edition includes things you don't usually get hence the higher price. I think it is the carrycot that is included??

Thank you ladies. Think I will compile an email to start with and see where I get too. From there I'll make phonecalls and the. I'll try face to face.

I do want the while sytem including a car seat so hopefully somewhere will be able to cut me a deal

I bought my iCandy cherry from Daniels in Windsor. Their customer service was outstanding and as I ordered nursery furniture at the same time they offered us a very good deal.

i went to an independent retailer and was quoted icandy peach (not the jogger 4 wheels) including carrycot, seat, maxi cosi adaptors and car seat £850!
I think if you look at the Quinny buzz 3/4 it would be around £700 for the same package?
Only thing that concerns me with the icandy and I love it when i tried it is they only give a 6 month guarantee??

Sorry - read that about the warranty on a retailers website! this is correct from their website

Seat fabrics, carrycot converter fabric, carrycots and accessories ? 6 months

Receive an additional 6 months warranty on you chassis and seat frame(s) by registering your product with us within 6 months of purchase.

hiya, we ordered the iCandy peach jogger in cranberry last week.

We've got the pushchair, carrycot, adapters, maxi cosi cabriofix (in the new purple colour) for £710

Got it from Pride and Joy in Aughton Lancashire. They are VERY close to Winstanleys in Wigan so will match any price they give
