Phil & Teds?!

Hi, I have a two year old and about to have baby no 3 -- need a buggy for walking to school down muddy track. I love my Baby Jogger, but think we might need a double buggy (I know two year old should walk, but often late and need to run!).
We used to have an ancient hand me down P&T, but I never used it because my eldest hated going in the buggy and annoyingly I gave it away!
I can't afford more than £200 max, so have been looking on eBay for a Phil& Teds but am confused about what an Explorer is or a Sport, etc? Which is better. If anyone has five minutes, here are the eBay options (within reasonable pick up radius from our house) - to be honest probably only the first few which are under 100 miles away, unless there is a real bargain!
www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=phil+and+teds+buggy&_sacat=0&_odkw=phil+and+teds&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
Not really expecting anyone to have the time to do my work for me, but just in case someone is reeeealllly bored!
Otherwise any advice gratefully received, eg you want the Sport not the Explorer or whatever.
thank you thank you thank you

Have only had a brief look. E3 used to be the most basic one, that got replaced by sport which I believe has now been replaced again by the Explorer. Vibe etc are the slightly posher ones.

I had a sport, it was fine, been very well used along rough tracks.

Don't be put off by any buggies missing bits as pretty mcuh everything can be replaced through the spares shop on the P&T website so have a look there before discounting any.

Wow, just looked on kiddicare at teh packages and bloody hell! They have used the replacement of the sport with the explorer to increase prices so much! I didn't pay anywhere near that much for mine!

I don't know a lot at all about Phil and Teds pushchairs so I can't help you ther, but I just wanted to give you a tip about your eBay search. I notice that you've put in the search box "phil and teds buggy", which will only show up items with those words in the title. Most people won't put 'buggy' in the title, so you'll be missing out on lots of listings. I always put in search terms that allow for other people's spelling mistakes, like this. I hope this seems helpful rather than patronising. Confused

hi, i have had an e3, sport, vibe, verve and a kiwi [very first one] and to tell you the truth, the sport is great, i loved my verve but it had major issues and has been returned, i had a sport for a number of years and it was great no problems at all, i also owned an e3 and also had no problems at all, owned a vibe and had front wheel problems and have heard of lots of other problems, so in my experience the sport, but if not the e3 will do the job, i have also heard issues with the new explorer so i would also avoid that one second hand as well, but i would also be looking at the britax b-dual heard lots of great things about them and they turn up on ebay within your budget

Just seen the Baby Jogger City Select double buggy -- wondering if it would go off road - wheels seem pretty big. Not sure if I would get one for my price anyway, but interested if anyone had one or heard good/bad things about them?

if it helps at all I have had a Phil & teds (E3, Sport and Classic V2 - avoid the classic V2) a baby jogger city classic double and a nipper 360 double. If you don't mind being a wide load then the baby jogger or nipper are streets ahead of Phil & Ted. city classic if you can find 1 are great off road and so is the nipper, personally I find P&T heavy (3yo and baby) and v hard to push off road when fully loaded whereas the other 2 travel more smoothly and are a lot easier to push
