Where can i get my Techno XT repaired?

Does anyone know of a place where I can get my Techno XT repaired (one of the harness clips has snapped). I will need to use it soon as 12 wk old DS is fast outgrowing his Silver Cross carrycot on my Linear freeway and I'd like to use the lightweight maclaren occasionally. I bought it from Mothercare if that's any help (but it was 4 yrs ago). i am in East Herts/Essex borders if it helps.

Try Katies Playpen or Buggy Pit Stop. The former does repairs for some pushchair manufacturers ie under contract so you would need to phone and ask. I think Katies Playpen are in Essex but they picked my pushchair up for me.

I rang maclaren on the contact number on their website and they gave me the details of the nearest approved dealer who did repairs

It doesn't matter if you got it from Mothercare 4 years ago they can still send it off to Maclaren to be repaired for you...You'd have to pay for the repair but at least you won't have to pay for a courier. In fact Im pretty sure if thats all thats wrong with it then you could just order a replacement harness...I haven't worked there for nearly a year since having DS2 but Im sure you should be able to just replace the harness-don't they just thread through?

Hope thats helps?

you were right....i called maclaren today and they are sending me replacement straps for the harness. Only cost £16 so it was less then the price of the courier to buggy pit stop.
