I am thinking of buying a 2or3 yr old p&t sport for £260. Includes double kit & cocoon. Apparently in good condition (going to see it tomorrow). So, does anyone know if there are any benefits of newer models? Kiddicare do the explorer for £400 (Inc double kit). I heard they no longer make the sport so worried that there might be probs with it that have been improved in newer models. Any advice greatly appreciated!!! Thanks :)

I'm not sure how the newer models differ but I have owned an e3 and a sport. I bought the e3 new 6 years ago and really loved it. I now have a sport which I bought secondhand about 2 years ago.

The things I love about the sport are the adjustable handle and the reclining second seat. It cost £200 off eBay and came with a suncover, raincover and parcel tray bag thingy.

I have a Sport and love it. Never had any problems. I have used it very heavily for the last 2 years, and have actually bought a another barely used second one from Ebay for DC2 (due in 6 weeks), as it was cheaper to do that than buy the doubles kit, cocoon and raincovers new. I'd have no probs recommending a Sport, but I think you could get a second hand one in good condition with doubles kit for less than £260.
