Tandem confusion

I thought I'd got it all figured out and was going to buy a peach, then went to look again and felt the seat unit was quite small and didnt like the position of the lower seat. The new peach blossom kit appears to resolve this problem but has no release date as of yet. I was then shown a BJCS and thought this could be the answer to my prayers....However today I tried DD1 (1) in it and it was so heavy there was no way it would get up and down kerbs.

So WWYD? Buy a old peach or a new BJCS.... DC2 is due in November so I need everything sorted by then!

The old Peach will still take the new Blossom kit plus there will be a modification available to the basket area should you wish. You can always sell the old blossom kit and buy the new one later. You only really need the convertor bars for the carrycot or car seat but those come with the second seat anyway.
Don't worry about the size of the Peach seat. I have a large almost 3 year old and there is tons of room for her yet. Have a look at these photos Can I just add DD was being silly in the first couple - she is actually very comfortable in there, plus the hood slides up the chassis, and the liner removes and beyond that the zip on the back of the hood undoes as well - so tons of room to grow!
I can't help the position of the second seat but there is a good view from either side.

I have a BJCS and it was awesome for the first 9-10 months but with a 2.5 year old and 10 month old on board it got too heavy and I have barely used it since. The Peach meanwhile is still easy to push one handed with all my shopping on board too. The only other tandem as easy to push is the Mima Kobi. I would definitely get the Peach and muddle through somehow and get the new kit later. No question at all!
