Am I making the right decision!! Took DS to sit in one yesterday and both DH and I loved it!! but this will be the last buggy we ever buy... fits in car, ideal for school run etc, should be ok over fields, but have an old phil & teds anyhow... argh... just SO much money!! Anyone want to talk me into/out of it???
thanks :)

hi, the piggyback is the buggy board and is in the uk, the rumble seat is the second seat should be in the uk soon the uppababy model out now in the uk will be the new one which i read is the same as the 2010 model, the one before had silver spokes on the wheels not all black and i think only 3 positions not 4 like on them now. hope that helps. monkeys loves hers and she did a review on it, its on one of the buggy adicts threads,

Tiggy bought the rumble seat from the USA. It's taking forever to get here though.Hmm I don't know anything about it but I think she did say it was a newer version than the one due out in the UK in September.

I have just done it!!! DH is going to go nuts as we were supposed to save for it! doh! BUT I wanted the green one and found one in stock for £525 (cheapest elsewhere was £549, although in windsor where we had a play yesterday was £599!) - DH said wanted it from a shop (so if real problems can go in there) and with a uk warrenty - so all good! I am VERY excited!! now just need to save for the buggy board! lol I am VERY excited though!!! It is def the newer version with the 4 seat positions too :)

thank SO much for all your help - I think this might actually be the 'ideal' buggy! I couldn't get over how light it was to push when put DD (3) in there!!

That's good you like the Uppababy Vista. Mine is sat in it's box awaiting the rumble seat. I must have been waiting a month and a half now?? It was arriving in store this week and then has to get to me. The Rumble Seat only to test out anyway as DD is marginally under the rumble seat weight limit (fairly low for a toddler by US terms). Realistically I don't see me putting baby in the Rumble seat with no recline. It's going to be better with people with a smaller age gap than ours (21 months) or with small, light children. But I can always get the piggyback if I like the Vista itself. Having had a Cameleon, Peach, Apple, City Select etc which seem to be in a similar group, I am looking forward to seeing how I find it. There are such positive reviews on here though.

HI tiggy! We are planning on getting the piggyback as we have 23 month gap and don't think we need the rumble seat really - but guess option is there if ever have another! Lol

It should be here on Wednesday!! :) Hoping I got a good price!

I have a 21 month gap and we are nowhere near the piggyback yet a year on! I tried DD on a Joovy but she kept trying to hop off the board part and she ended up being strapped back in!

Also we do a lot of all day outings where DD would need to sit down t some point. It's a shame the Rumble seat weight isn't just a tad higher for us.

DD is starting nursery at the infant school in a couple of weeks and it is only a 15 min walk that i know she can do fine, so want the piggy back as back up! lol Also she does ballet one afternoon which is about 20-25 mins at her pace, she can walk it but too tired to walk back etc, hoping to increase the walking, for dog walks etc, but we do have an old phil & teds we will take out if needed! DS also loves the connecta carrier so often if out all day we will put him or her in there if needed!

Tiggy could your smallest go in the rumble seat leaving the main seat free for when your eldest needs to sit?
Did you watch the YouTube video of the rumbleseat where the toddler can climb in and out unassisted even when main seat is empty without tipping it at all?

I probably have seen that video, Monkeys, I think I ave watched the lot at some stage! My DS could possibly go in the Rumble seat but he's usually asleep in under 5 mins flat and I think theRumble seat will be too upright. I can't remember if it has a 5 point harness or just a three? He needs a five point one.
