Jane Powertrack worn out, what should I replace it with?

My much-loved Jane Powertrack has seen me through 2 children, from birth to 2.5 years. I'm now using it for DC3, which is fine at the moment, as the carrycot, car seat and chassis are in good condition. However, the pushchair fabric is well past it's best, and I'm looking to buy a replacement pushchair to start using by about age 4 months.

But everything I look at seems either so chunky or so flimsy! I loved the fact that the Powertrack was so lightweight but sturdy at the same time. Budget is £250 max, which rules out another Jane pushchair. Essential criteria are that it's able to see me through to toddler stage, easy to transport in and out of cars, and lightweight. I'd also like a parent-facing feature but that's not essential.

Any recommendations? Quinny Zapp Xtra? Baby Jogger City Mini? I've no idea - it's years since I've looked at pushchairs!!

would you consider second hand? if you really love it i'm sure you could get one on ebay for less than £250

the baby jogger pushchairs are fabulous. can't fault them... but not parent facing.

what about one of the britax ones? the B-smart or something?

You won't go wrong with a Baby Jogger City Mini or Elite but as the PP says they aren't parent facing. Have you seen the barginous Nippers on Tesco.com. I think they are under £110 for a single. Don't get a Zapp Xtra. Cute but flawed!

Nipper 360 Single on HALF PRICE offer - with £10 off per £100 spend code on page too from www.tesco.com! That makes a single buggy £99 - don't forget to buy the underseat basket too though.
The out n about nipper 360 is only 7kg complete and has suspension too.

Thanks everyone, some great ideas. The Nipper 360 deal looked great, all sold now though sadly. i like the look of the Britax B-smart, so will look into that one a bit more.
