frickin' iCandy foam handles

The foam handle of my iCandy peach got ripped in the car (dh's fault, obvs), and although it's been glued back down, it's not going to last long. I doubt very much the warranty covers it, and you can't get replacement foam bits.

Has this happened to you, and how did you fix it?

Hiya,

I would take it back to where you bought it and see if they will repair it under the warranty ... you never know. Our front chassis completely collapsed (from over use and getting stuck in a pothole). Took back to John Lewis who couldn't have been more helpful and we got a brand new chassis. I think that's our last chance under the warranty however as it came back with a note saying it had been heavily used

Don't know about the foam handles though, these haven't gone for us (yet!!)

Thanks - am waiting for a call back from John Lewis. - I guess it can happen to any foam handled buggy, but it's only 6 months old. Grrr. -should have got a bugaboo--

Replacement foam sleeves for the iCandy Peach range can be bought on ebay.

Not sure if they are suitable for other models.

If you're not too bothered about foam, you can get hold of a lycra style cover which protects the foam and is a nice tight fit to the foam, my local stockist recommends them but only she will put them on as have to remove handle to put them on. We got some velcro fleece style ones of ebay but not half as good.
