Pushchairs

Petite Star Zia 3 - Only pushchair from birth?

Hi Ladies

I dont have a budget for this but think maybe the money i have put aside could go to other uses, a friend of mine has the above and has used this as their main pushchair since birth as it folds flat and is compact (which is good as my car has a tiny boot and the pushchair will have to fold into tonneau on my old convertible when the roof is up and in the passenger footspace if the roof is down).

Has anyone else used it with a small baby? I would get the footmuff to keep it warm, lots of blankets etc am due in december so imagine wont be pushing around a lot to start with and will have a sling too until it gets bigger.

What do you think?

I would get the baby jogger city mini instead, it is a bit more substantial, but still folds up really small.

Honestly...I think there are much better small options to the Petit Zia but it depends on your car and boot space. Has it a small square boot or long one? Can you slide anything under the roof when folded at all? I agree with the City Mini but it depends on the shape of your boot really on what to suggest. I have a 20cms clearance to get my current car roof down so small pushchairs are something I look for! But my last convertible had a gap I could slide something into but it was long and thin otherwise!

Thanks for the recommendations ladies I'll have a look at the mini jogger have abandoned the whole travel system idea have a car seat for the "family car" from sister hardly used so perfectly safe and have scoped out a small one to fit in my little car and as much as would have liked the option of a rear facing seat or carrycot I just think the extra money better spent somewhere else in long term.

Will get the car down to a shop and see if it fits when folded.

You can get a carrycot and car seat adaptors for the City Mini plus in the next week or so you will have the choice if three or four wheels. The Baby Jogger City Mini is one of the best birth to five (and never need another pushchair) options there is. If the carrycot is too much money then Petit Zia or Graco soft cots fit inside the City Mini giving a parent facing carrycot option. You can easily remove the City Mini wheels of you need to.
