Do I need the bugaboo bee missoni? Give me reasons to justify...

So I have been trawling around stores and internet wondering what stroller I should buy... I had short listed it to the bee and cameleon... bee coz it is light and small just what I need for city living and the cameleon because it seems more stable. Then lo and behold - I found a link to the bugaboo meets missoni... and fell in love. But at £167 more than a regular bee plus and £180 more than a cameleon I know it is ridiculous... but it looks so cute!

You can get the Missoni Bee Plus for less than a normal Cameleon. The Cam's around £650 I believe, but the Missoni Bee is £579 here. That's actually a saving on what you could have spent while getting s super duper cute pushchair that you don't see every five yards!WinkSmile I love the Missoni fabrics and the Bee Plus is supposed to be a fantastic pushchair. I don't think it's that good on bumpy ground so if you're going to be going off road or over cobbles, maybe it's not the right one. Otherwise, get it!! You can always buy another off roader if you want to go for walks in the woods though.

Wow - that is GORGEOUS - although I wish I hadn't looked as I want one now!!! LOL
I'll have to settle for a blanket in the style for my vista instead.... Smile

Not a bad price - you'll get a great resale price after you've used it - and so you might be less out of pocket than someone who had bought a cheap and nasty pram and didn't get any return on it after use....

I love you guys!!! I was almost about to bin the idea... because my sister reckons it is trying too hard! But every time I look at it I fall in love with it again. Hubby reckons that I can have it as long as it constitutes of my b'day present too! Which frankly given I can't fit into any clothes at the mo... I figure why not!

Thought I'd love it but don't.

You can always make your own cover in material of your choice.

The reality is I have absolutely no nifty craft or sewing skills whatsoever. I mean, I can sew a button back on my coat... and maybe hem trouser leg... but I can't see that I could make a cover that would actually stay on :(

Do your bank balance a favour and buy an ordinary bee and get a custom hood made, there will be fabrics similar to the misoni I'm sure , and it won't cost you £169 extra!

Google shopping search brings up this which shows JL are selling the Bugaboo Cameleon Missoni pack for £199 and the Bee Missoni Pack pack for £139....although when I click the links - they don't actually work?! However you could try phoning JL and see if these parts can be ordered (these are just the accessories not the complete prams I believe!).

I heard of someone who had just the hood etc coming for their Bee so I believe you are correct.

rogersmelly Where do you go to get a custom hood made? That sounds fab....

Anyway... I still have not bought the missoni pushchair yet... partly because I am still trying to decide between the bee and the cameleon... and now someone suggested the stokke xplory... oh no!
