Pushchairs

So are there any pushchairs out there that are as easy to push as bee+?

I am having a hard time finding something with bigger wheels that turns on a dime!

I agree with the Vigours...I've got 3 in my possession at the moment and i feel pushing wise, they are almost on par with Bugaboos.

I'm hoping the mountain buggy swift is. It certainly looks like it in the videos on youtube.
I loved the manouverability of the bee, but found pushing it empty if going quickly a struggle due to the front wheels wobbling.
I'll comment further after it arrives.

When is it suppose to arrive???

well - I paid for next day delivery - so that's tomorrow between 8am and 9pm... - no despatch note yet - although order confirmation has come through.

I really hope it does arrive tomorrow... Not much point them offering next day delivery if they don't actually do it is there. Hmm

Well crossing my fingers it arrives for you...I'll arrange to collect mine from a store if i go through with my filled in order...I'm out a lot and get fed up of delivery people...Most stuff goes to my parents but buggies are a no no, as my mum rolls her eyes at me!!!

Just rang boots to enquire - as order not marked as despatched yet...their customer care assistant said not to worry - some items are sent really late at night and not despatched until then.....although he did waver a bit and say he knew certain buggies were not available for next day delivery - although if checkout let me tick that box for this one - it must be available on the next day service and not to worry..... Hmm
If it doesn't come I expect I'll be able to get the next day delivery cost back - but that's not really the point is it.
Maybe I'll just get an "out for delivery" note tomorrow or something.....

When does that BOOTS10 code end? I just tried putting the swift in my basket again (without rain/sun covers) to see what delivery options came up (still said "next day" delivery was an option with the buggy on it's own - phew! (unless this is a website error and infact they won't do next day on it)..

But, I tried the code again - and this time it would not accept it - possibly because I've used it already and maybe it's once per person - or did it end 3rd June (I thought it did!)....

Not that it matters to me now - I've placed my order, but just see if it'll still work for you.
I bet it's only one use per customer.
I'm sure if not - there'll be another code or promotion soon.
Or - there's always //www.practicalpushchairs.co.uk for a low price. Smile

Monkeys, I would give Boots a call. Theclast time they had a promo like that, it wouldn't accept a code twice online, soI phoned up,and apparently you could have the discount twice and I was refunded the difference.

good tip - not actually needing anything from boots right now - but that is a good thing to know for future reference! Grin

Just to clarify - I did use the code and it worked for me on my actual order - I was just surprised to see it not work - when testing the checkout options post-order to doubly make sure the swift was available for next day delivery...I obviously have too much time on my hands! Blush

Interesting..... Now I've had a swift (just sold it) and found it terrible to push! It was v heavy. Heavier than a P&T explorer even!....

Mine felt a bit stiff at first, particularly the front swivel mechanism, however plenty of wd40 over the front wheel swivel from underneath has worked a treat. Is lovely to push now. I don't think they're well. Lubricated fresh from the factory.
