buggy sun shades - so which is the best?

Discuss.

I like the look of this one. Not too cocoon like the shade-a-babe; good coverage unlike some of the hood ones.

I may be wrong: I haven't tried any but do need to get one.

My daughter hated having her raincover on and so the suncover you picked would have been a disaster for us. This is the one we used: www.johnlewis.com/231154769/Product.aspx?SearchTerm=RecentlyViewedList

When I looked into it, it was the only one I could find with the UV backing. It's also a nice large size. Some of the ones I saw on other buggies were pathetic - no bigger than a dinner plate.

That said, if this isn't the style you're after, one of my friends had one that fitted like an extension to the canopy that came with her buggy, and it seemed pretty effective:

What pushchair do you have?

Some shades don't work with certain brands.
