Do you think they will still use it?

Why not buy a second hand one from Ebay? I think she will need it for longer walks or days out maybe :)

I already have the P&T so only need to buy the doubles kit (around £60)

well it is always handy for your changing bag and stuff! i had a P&T and DD1 was still using the seat age 4.5 for the school run (quite a way, in a rush)

yes do it, my 3yo sometimes rides and when she isn't it's brilliant for the shopping and on days out. I had the doubles kit before DD2 was even a thought and used it loads.

is the doubles kit suitable for the older child?
just wondering if i have them the wrong way round now, as 3yr old in main seat & 1yr old in back?
think they are both up to 15kg? prob would be better if 3yr old in back as then he can hop in & out?
Just as he's so big thought that maybe he was too heavy for back....

the heavier child is supposed to go in the front
but mine were the other way round as DD1 was in and out, plus DD2 would sometimes need to sleep
i guess it is ok as long as it feels stable weight-wise

front seat is supposed to take up to 20kg and back seat 15kg, I have occasionally put my hefty 3yo (above 15kg) in the back seat and it is stable but it's hard work getting her in or out!
