I have almost completely decided on the Bee after becoming very stressed and overwhelmed about all the options out there. The deciding factor probably came down to weight, I found lifting even the Bee difficult so I would never manage the others.
I would love some opinions on the following however.
I like the fact that you can buy a complete coverage UV sunshade. Has anyone had problems with the UV sunshade? I wouldnt bother with the parasol, but I would need a sunshade as we will be spending time in very hot, desert areas.
As I will be using it from birth and in the summer I will be getting something like this:
www.amazon.co.uk/Summer-Infant-Snuzzler-Terry-Cotton/dp/B000DZS720/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top/277-9435296-9825568?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21
instead of the cocoon which is too warm for summer IMO. I was thinking of a sheepskin but decided against is due to family history of skin allergies. Do you think this will provide enough support. I saw a tiny little baby in the bee cocoon the other day (cold winter day it was) who looked very snug and secure-so I hope this would make my little one secure enough without overheating. Any opinions?
Have any Bee owners had difficulty gate checking this onto the plane itself (instead of checking it into the baggage hold)? Would like to know If I would need the travel bag.
Also I would like to have anohter child in the not too distant future and would like to use the buggy board. Am assuming this is easy to use?
I also like that it is a worldwide company and hope to buy the extra accessories, UV sunshade in the States as they are a lot cheaper over there. Also does anyone have experience with getting repairs etc in other countries?
