Please help me find a double buggy!

Hi

I am looking for a new double buggy and hoped you could suggest something I haven't thought of. I have a 1 yr old and 2.5 yr old so they are quite heavy together

I currently have a P&T Explorer but I don't like it as it is very heavy to lift, the hood keeps coming off and the mudguards are really flimsy. I have had other P&Ts in the past - I would get another Dash but I hate the brake.

My main requirements are:
Tandem preferably, not side by side due to small shop doorways where I live
Easy to push - air tyres as I walk to school quite a lot, unless someone can suggest one that has hard tyres and is easy
Easy to fold and folds small due to my small car boot

Baby Jogger is easy to fold but side by side and small wheels. Love the Nipper double but folds too big for my car and side by side. Was tempted with Jane Powertwin but heard bad things about the size of the front seat.

Anyone think of any others?

Yes, if you can wait or month ago the Mountain Buggy Duet looks like a cracking side by sde than is slimmer than some tandems. www.bestbuggy.co.uk/2011/03/mountain-buggy-duet/ I've ordered it because I can't get any other side by sides through my local shop doors but my tandem fits...and this is slimmer with good sized seats. The only query would be how small you need the fold to be. It's a flat fold - see the photos - rather than a compact fold. It just fits in my car!
