My main requirement is that it reclines further than a mothercare jive and quinny zapp strollers.

My list is
McLaren Quest Sport
Mamas and Papas Tempo
Mamas and Papas Pulse
Mamas and Papas Tour

Does anyone have any of the above? Please recommend Smile

Out of that lot, get a Quest. M&P is shite.

Am suprised at M&P being crap, back in the day they were the ones to go for

I don't think a Quest lies back a great deal...I've just sold my Pulse, due to a buggy cull, well it does lie back almost 180 degrees...No idea about the other M&P though.

Quest lays back far enough for the little one to sleep. I've had a Quest for both my boys' and they have both napped in them. Ds2 still does :)

suzie how did you findn the pulse??

It doesnt need to lie flat because ds2 is 15 months now, but hw is sitting practically upright in the zapp which was no good in the evenings on holiday because he would just wake up as soon as we put him in it. The jive doesnt even recline properly, just has a little strap in the back to lie it back slightly

Quest. No question. it's from 3 months I think so lies back plenty for a 15 month old. They're a well-built buggy, easy to recline, easy to push.

I didn't use the Pulse much as someone gave it to me...I then left it at my parents as a spare emergency buggy...The few times i used it, it seemed ok...Handle a bit on the high side for me at 5'2"...Plus i'm not a fan of umbrella strollers, not keen on my Quest either...The Quest does seem a lot nippier though...Don't like Pop's either so i'm selling that as well.

Quest should be fine, I have many many prams and hav a quest mod (I think. could be sport) for sale?? Light use due to sheer number of prams Grin

I hate the quest.

Have used both.

I don't get on well with Maclarens and can't see the fuss but I especially did'nt like this because it was so short (I am only 5ft 3), the seat looked uncomfy as is in a funny reclined/upright position and is very close to the footrest which led to a tall 2YO dragging his feet on the wheels which are rediculously small (although admitedly nippy in the shops) so don't expect to go over any bumpy ground.

I know that M&P have shawdy customer services ut IMO it is their big prams/car seats that need to be avoided their strollers seem to be fine. I preffered this pushchair because the seat unit was higher and bigger and has full upright or reclned position and it has bigger wheels which actually make it easier to push.

Although in the end I decided I did'nt like umbrella strollers and bought a Baby Jogger City Mini which I LOVED and wish that I had from the start and would buy another one in a flash!
