Cheap and cheerful buggy recommendations needed for occasional use by mum

Hi,

We've got a pretty expensive all singing all dancing Mutsy 4-Rider Lite buggy/travel system for DS who is 9.5 months at present. However, it's proving to be a bit complicated and bulky for short trips out in the car when my mums looking after him.

Can anyone recommend something cheap/middle of the road buggy that is easy to use and quickly folds for the boot of a car? It needs to be comfortable as it's normally on a buggy run that he ends up having a nap.

Thanks in advance for any advice. It took me months to choose our current buggy and I don't fancy weeks of further research trying to work out what's the best buy!

Maclaren quest or XT. Both recline, quest nearly flat and XT completely. Both have a footrest too and are very easy to fold up. Quest folds smaller and has shorter, non adjustable handles.
