Do i need a bee?

expecting DC4 in the summer. Have always shunned the bugaboo as overpriced and very popular here.

However am looking for a compact rf that is light one piece fold for when baby grows out of carrycot of micralite.

I could use micralite i know but feel it is too exposed doesn't lie flat enough etc and want the luxury of rf for my last baby.

For years I was of the opinion that everyone who had a bugaboo only had one as a kind of status symbol so never even entertained them. Then I tried one!! I now have many cams and bee+s. As much as I hated to admit it they are far and away more superior so yes I would say Im afraid so :)

im only 16weeks norma so a way to go yet!! But thinking on already..you know how it is.

Shatteredmumof5 - I too shunned the Bugaboo as being over priced - and just popular as a fashionable status symbol....

Then I tried one - I got the bee+ - it's fantastic - I now have a cameleon also - as I find it nicer to have the larger rear wheels and I like the way the seat unit "cradles" the baby - and provides foot rest also when reclined.

I was going to sell the bee+ - but I can't! I might need it for a bus trip or days out in the city - it folds in one piece and I can fit loads in the basket beneath and also have the option of ds facing me.

So, it's now "bye bye beloved baby joggers" - hello Bugaboos! I also love that you can change the look of the cameleon with different fabrics - and the bee with different hoods.

I think the rear facing and one piece fold are excellent on the bee - as is the suspension - feels like you're pushing a little boat along in the water - it's nice for you to push too.

I think if you do get one you wouldn't regret it. They are a bit pricey - hopefully you can find a discount code for Mothercare (JLK for 10% off spend over £120) or something. Mine had 20% off (as they had 10% off ALL the prams at that time - and another 10% off with a code - so total 20% off) - which helped enormously.

i shunned expensive pushchairs until my old faithful cheapy one fell apart after ds2. got a bee. love it. wish i'd got it before.
