Cameleon - is my baby too young for the 'seat'?

My DS is 20 weeks now, and a nosy little man so is getting very grumpy lying flat in his Bugaboo Cameleon carrycot fitting, and is a little pudding weighing about 20lbs now. He's not sitting unaided yet, but is a sturdy little thing.

The user guide says you should stop using the Carrycot part once baby reached 19.8lbs, but that they shouldn't use the seat until they are 6 months old.....so that makes me very confused!!

Where I think it'll be best using the seat, DH disagrees saying we should stick with the carrycot.

Any advice would be gladly received!!

I put dd3 in it at about 5 months. She just got so cross lying flat. You need to keep it very reclined so that their heads don't get too heavy for them.
