Silver Cross Surf

Hi - has anyone else bought the Silver Cross Surf and found that their newborn isn't laying flat in the baby nest. My baby seems to be lying with his bum up higher than it should be and as such with his chin down. I have contacted Silver Cross who are not issuing a recall but told me that some people have stated that their children cannot lie flat in the pram and they will address the design issue if they get an email photo FAO the design team - am I worrying about this too much - has anyone else come across the same thing? I am so naffed off that I have bought this pram that is marketed as from birth and I feel like I can't use it! Does anyone else have the Surf who could let me know if I am just using it wrong?
