Has anyone got anything to say about this one? Can't see it on the Reviews page.
DS is 3 in March. DC2 is expected at the end of December. I thought long and hard about a double buggy but they're huge, cumbersome and expensive, and DS will be starting pre-school in March too, so I won't even need to cart two children around all the time. He is reluctant to walk (buggy police back off please: I'm frankly reluctant to make him walk at the moment, as I'm hugely pregnant, have a sore pelvis and back and don't want the added stress of lugging a small cannonball around town) but I'm hoping this will change quite soon. So my idea was to get a good, adaptable single buggy and use it every which way: put the baby in a sling and DS in the buggy in stroller mode; baby in the lie-flat mode and DS on a buggy board, walking or maybe even in a Babypod (sidecar) though that's another kettle of fish.
Given he'll be 3 two months after DC2 is born, does this sound visable? I just feel a double buggy (I keep ON typing bugger when I mean buggy! says something about the way I feel about buggy shopping, probably.) won't be used for long enough to justify the cost, even second-hand. Nobody I know is at a stage where they can lend me theirs. My mum is convinced that he won't walk when I need him to and that I really need a double.
I like the BabyJoggers generally, but the Elite is better for me because I'm a shortarse and the handle adjusts, whereas the City Mini doesn't, and will give me back/shoulder ache. And we like the big wheels for semi-rural paths locally.
Any tips/opinions?
