Need some expert advice.

I'm newly pregnant with number 2 and when he/she is born DS will be 18ish months. He is already 28lbs and 84 cms. I feel I need to start thinking about this early but can't think straight/am overwhelmed.

I'd like something which I could maybe fit a maxicosi car seat on (just so I can feel it wasn't a waste as DS was out of it at 6 months) but this isn't neccesary. ATM we've got a Loola Up which I do like despite it being heavy but it's already getting quite hard to get DS strapped in as he's so big/long.
I'd like it if the baby could face me at first anyway and that it's easy to push. I don't have a lot of space in the house so smaller or foldable too. And that it will fit in the boot of a Focus.

Any suggestions appreciated. I'll check back later so please keep them coming. TIA

we have an out n about nipper 360, doesn't meet all your criteria but great for a large toddler (DD1 is a big just 3 yo), fantastic to push and if you take the quick release rear wheels off, fits in the boot of a focus

Oooh i was just replying on another post about this subject! One of my friends from work has twins and she had a pretty good twin pushchair. It is one of those ones with the seats side by side, but its not actually as big as it seems.

I don't know if you know the Extreme at mothercare but this is like that but with 2 seats. I think its pretty nice and she loves it. I got her to send me the link this is it:

Hiya, I'm researching a new tandem buggy as DD will be 22-23 months when our next little one arrives. Don't know if this fits your criteria but I've come across the obaby zoom Tandem www.babyenterprise.com/Obaby%20Zoom%20Tandem%20-%20Zynergie%20Range.htm which pretty much covers everything.
There is a sibling pack which includes a carseat, carrycot and two normal seats as well as other gumf.
I think it's available in mothercare so I'll probably go in there (when I have a spare minute) and try it out.

I have my 2 in a Baby Jogger City Select.

5week old in the carrycot on the front, LARGE 18month old in the seat at the back facing me so we can still chat away.

It takes a Maxi Cosi carseat with the adaptors. There is so many different seating options and turns into a single pram as well. (I really like the fact that the children can face each other when both in the seat units)

It looks long but I can get on the bus with it with room to sit down and have never had any problems in shops/lifts etc.

Expensive but well worth it imo.
