Alternatives to BJ City Select?

Looking at tandems and really like the City Select, but would like to see what else is out there that's as flexible.
Mainly, looking for a double that can be a good single as well (looking for siblings, not twins), rear-facing option would be nice too.
I'd appreciate suggestions.

Mutsy 4Rider Light chassis - and then add the duo seat when you need it for 2 children.
Admittedly they tell you in the UK that the duo seat is only for use on the Mutsy Urban Rider chassis (which is huge and bulky and more suited to the countryside imo for a buggy called an "urban rider"!).....
BUT in the USA and Germany the Duo seat is also used on the 4 rider light chassis (it obviously hasn't got through the very stringent British safety testing)..so if you're careful and wouldn't leave the kids unattended in it - I am confident it would be fine and work well.
Personally this is an option I myself would consider. Wink

I have the mutsy 4 light and absolutely LOVE it. Though mutsy have told me that the duo seat is not approved for use with the light chassis, which makes me a bit concerned... though if others are using it elsewhere, maybe it's not such a bad option afterall Hmm.

I've looked at some videos for the icandy pear... It seems there are one too many parts to disassemble to get it folded down; and the second seat is supposedly a bit small... am I just picking on it? Confused

My cousin has the pear, which they have found worked well for them. They had twins though, I don't think it would be good for siblings, particularly if the eldest is quite big. My cousin has now swapped to an urban detour double now her children are 2.

Mutsy have to tell you it's not approved for use with the duo chassis (in the UK) but they are using it in other countries without problems as it's passed their safety tests. You can buy it on ebay.de for use with the 4rider light chassis - and it's commonly used in the usa with that chassis too - so it's really down to your personal preference. Just thought I'd mention the possibility - it can be done! Smile
