Where to go for new bathroom?

We need a new bath and replacement taps for the sink, no need to replace the rest of the suite. On a tight budget so the likes of Dolphin are clearly out. Where would people recommend? (Have heard horror stories about Bathstore)

TIA

I got our bath online, I can't remember which company but it was Twyfords branded so I knew it would be ok. Our taps came from Screwfix, and have been fine.

I have just bought a suite from Wickes as it was on special offer. It was an edwardian style suite with a rolltop bath for £466 including hand held shower and taps. Its for my kids bathroom an as i have 4 they trash everything so i didn't want to pay very much. But i havn't fitted it yet so i do not know how it will "perform" in real life.

We're having an en suite and a downstairs loo put in. Our plumber has said he won't fit bathstore stuff, it's a nightmare apparently due to lots of the fittings not being standard sizes?

cityplumbing. I can't recommend them enough.

I can highly recommend True Shopping . It is very inexpensive and the stuff we got from them has been just just a good as the pricier bits we got.

MakemineaGandT Just type bathstore review into Google and see! Basically it seems that the showroom staff are great but as soon as they have your money it goes downhill with wrong/damaged items being delivered, and no one at the store prepared to resolve the issue or accept responsibility.

Thanks for your suggestions everyone - very helpful
