The sanivite unit in our basement kitchen smells bad. It was put in about 12 years ago and otherwise works fine. One plumber said we needed a new one, that there was no way of fixing it. Another said he could remove it and clean it out, which would be quite pricey as it'd take a while.I haven't called a special saniflo plumber as from past experience their call out rates are very high.A new unit costs around £300 so am not sure what is the best thing to do.Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice much appreciated...
