Loft Beds

DS age 11 needs a new bed. He is in the smallest room in the house and I'm trying to make the best use of the avaliable space. He has just started high school and ideally I would like to try and fit a desk into his room. Although I dont really like them, I am coming round to the idea of a high rise loft bed. Then the desk could go underneath.

I dont like the metal ones and I dont really like pine either, though painted wood is fine. It has to be good quality with decent supports as I would like this bed to last him till we turf him out!

Obviously there is Ikea, but does anyone know where I might find a quality adult sized loftbed?

ikea is the cheapest and nicest by a mile unless you want to spend a grand
