Anyone ordered bathroom suite etc. from Bathstore?

We're having our bathroom redone and Bathstore prices are really cheap but is the stuff good quality?

I have. I'm no expert, but ours is holding up fine, all looks very smart. Now our bathroom fitter was a bit suspect, and did lots of stupid things but that's a different story!

Yes. Our bathroom and downstairs toilet are from Bathstore and all of it is good quality and looks nice too. I know several other people who are happy with their Bathstore bathrooms too

Thanks. We already know our fitter so hopefully that side of things will be OK, at the moment I'm just really nervous about paying out loads of money for the suite because once it's done it has to last us 'forever'! Anyone else with any comments I'd be really grateful to hear from.

we did and are generally pleased with it. Just a word of warning about the shower attachments which go on the bath though. Ours is very heavy and the children of knocked it into the bath a couple of times which has left scratchmarks. Just looked at their website - it is a Metro bath shower mixer.

Do not book your plumber until you have received and checked your goods!! Nice stuff and good quality but 'pickers' in the warehouse are eastern european and don't have very good english.

Yes . Great quality

BUT their customer service is PANTS PANTS PANTS and there is a very old thread about them on mumsnet .

Anything that could go wrong did go wrong with my order. ( including being advised to buy some unnecessary plumbing accessories and waitint months for a refund)

Very happy with ours, used one of their recommended plumbers as well and he was extremely reliable, we've used him since for other work.

Generally happy with what we bought from bathstore but had some plumber issues, not directly their fault but fitting instructions are not too clear. Did have a few hassles with a set of shower doors that they were adamant (sp?) were correct - 3rd set supplied finally fitted and then they agreed the factory had drilled the holes in the wrong places in the other sets!! Bought all the kit for an ensuite - built in loo / sink combo and corner shower unit. For main bathroom used a couple of other suppliers as bathstore didn't have what we were after.

I found the branded stuff fine but the rest poor quality - I had something to compare it against as I also ordered stuff from Bruge and Gunson (london) at the same time.

Had to eventually replace teh bath mixer tap with a homebase one which was better quality, returned another tap which to be fiar they did replace, one toilet will not flush properly numerous plumbers have looked at it and just shrugged and said its just not a very efficient flusher...

STeel bath was fine and sinks were fine.

We have had no problems with the stuff we bought.

The sink pedestal was chipped after when it arrived and they swapped it really quickly with no problem!

We've only bought accessories from there but the prices were great, no problems with collecting them and all seem very good quality

Yes - had no problems - Perth store customer service was excellent. Our plumber was v. impressed with the quality. And then we moved house. Bah.

We've used them with no problem.Even when I changed y mind abut a bah pane,they took it back & refunded me without any quibbling.

we had ours done a couple of years ago. already showing signs of wear in a couple of areas. we prob wouldnt buy from them again but in general pretty happy with it. is medium qualit we think- 1 up frm b and q etc but wouldnt want it as my 'forever' bathroom to be honest. toilets are the ones to watch- more than one bathroom fitter we obtained quotes from said they just would not fit them they go wrong so often....

We're really happy with the quality of ours -is a branded suite though. FIL installed it so we didn't need their fitters.

The delivery set-up was a bit of a pain though - don't know if all stores are the same. They only use one-man to "keep the costs down" (we still paid £30 for it though ) so someone had to be here to help. Since I was 6 months pregnant at the time dh had to take time off. Also the bath taps were missing but they sent them on the following week.

yes they were a nightmare. wouldnt personally go anywhere near them again.
