in a group of 7 houses!!

here

I would want my own estate!

We live close to these, and no way should they get those prices shock

maidamess Wed 08-Oct-08 21:47:20

That would cost 3million where I live.

Estate agents details

no.

i'd spend a mil on a house if i had it, just not one that looked like that.

ForeverOptimistic Wed 08-Oct-08 21:51:21

I can't imagine them selling. Seems very overpriced for Reading.

Milliways Wed 08-Oct-08 21:53:03

Precisely my thought Expat grin

HRHSaintMamazon Wed 08-Oct-08 21:54:31

oh that looks like a picture of a toy house.

Pria Wed 08-Oct-08 21:57:09

Lost me at "gated development" grin

i dont think thats too badly priced actually

if moeny was NO object i would be wanting a hosue with lots of lovley old original features etc etc BUT if i didnt care about nice features, and money was no object i would think that would be ok for £1m

SmugColditz Thu 09-Oct-08 19:24:03

for that price I don't want a georgian Inspired Property, I want a big Georgian house!

southeastastra Thu 09-Oct-08 19:25:37

would be more here too, lots of gated 'communities' hmm

looks very legoland

lilymolly Thu 09-Oct-08 19:26:00

for that price I would want land and stables at least

muggglewump Thu 09-Oct-08 19:26:15

No, I don't think much to that house

FimboGotAxed Fri 10-Oct-08 10:16:14

this is for sale in my village. I think it is hideous tbh. It's on a cross-roads with the main routes through the village.

Gobbledigook Fri 10-Oct-08 10:21:08

No because I have a serious dislike for new estates

Gobbledigook Fri 10-Oct-08 10:22:28

No, don't like that Fimbo.
And the garden - my garden is bigger than that and my house is probably half that price.

LadySanders Fri 10-Oct-08 10:22:46

i think its ok, and would cost a lot more than that in london where i live...

Gobbledigook Fri 10-Oct-08 10:25:27

Mind you, you don't get that much for £1mill really.

not far from me

I would not pay 1.2 million for this house, lovely as it is.

Gobbledigook Fri 10-Oct-08 10:26:42

Blimey, just noticed purple walls in the kitchen on my one - ooooh, I LOVE that! It would match my purple tights lol

babbi Fri 10-Oct-08 11:17:10

Love it Fimbo ...... Babbi dreams of flouncing about playing at lady of the manor !! (also dreams of fab cleaner to keep it in order )

I couldnt get 1/10th of that for £1m where I live. Here, 3 bed 1 bath victorian terraces with no garden go for £1m

Tortington Sun 19-Oct-08 00:23:14

hideous

findtheriver Sun 19-Oct-08 09:53:08

I would pay over £1 million not to live in a mock Georgian house adjacent to a golf course.
