yes. charcoal grey or mushroom brown. that's what i'm planning... don't like plaid sorry. reminds me of a chilly stately home.

I like the plaid too but the charcoal is alreay tehre and i want to keep and dp assumed it was going.i love it though and plan just to change stairs to stripy grey black and stone runner to blend.

I plan to have stripes on the stairs and although i like stripes think it would look wrong with my other furniture etc.May have to scrap it if i don't like it once decorating done although i fear the kitchen renovations are going to take most of the budget.
