I have just committed a huge sum to thomas sanderson 'the mercedes of shutters' have I gone stark raving bonkers? Yhey will look incredible BUT hey you'd want them to for the blinkin price. Do I pull out, lose the deposit and get the cheaper range? Has anyone weighed up the shutter market of late? I economise on absolutely everything I am a keen bargain hunter, this is the first time I have ever thought I must have this !!

Am very
I would stick with the order. Especially if you are going to be living in teh house long-term. Quality will last.

hoorah! thank you, that was the pitch I fell for! They are fantastic, even if they almost cost the amount of two large wooden bay windows ... even if we have to put off doing up the rest of the house and eat beans on toast for ever .. even if I have to give the hard sell to anyone who enters my house so I get cash for referral

womble who did you go with? We are looking at shutters but not sure where to start, £900 doesnt sounds too bad.

i used shutters of distinction first time round they were fine but when i came to get the second set they were very restrictive about when they could come round etc so i used "shutterly fabulous" who were great. bloke who came and did the fitting was also rather yummy.... well it all helps....

they gave us a quote of £12k for blinds for our (reasonably average sized - 3m x 3m) conservatory about 7 years ago. needless to say we declined .

Sorry but out of principal I wouldn't touch Thomas Sanderson, they came to quote me for my conservatory blinds, I could have built a new conservatory for the amount they quoted me.

The bloke who fitted the [roof foils in my conservatory told me that the mark up on their products is huge because of the amount of advertising they do so they recoup it back. It's a bit like Hillarys Blinds.

Shutterly Fabulous - what a great name!
