When I say forever, it will be the house we stay in till the boys (6 and 4) are grown up. It's nothing special to look at, just a 30s semi, but it's got bags more space than our current house and huge extension potential. And it overlooks the recreation ground opposite the boys' school, so it's perfect for them.
I'm so excited!! Months of stress and worry are finally at an end.

Well done Lyra - crack open the champagne!

Bet you can't wait until completion now

Brill Lyra - it really is so stressful isn't it? I remember the relief when we finally got this one - a house we will also stay in until the boys are grown up (and beyond probably!). The whole process is a nightmare rollercoaster - get the champers open!

I've already had a glass of bubbly and I suspect several more will follow

And in this climate being able to stay put for years and years, and extend if you need sounds great

Oh, and it's two minutes from the boys' school, so the school run will be a doddle.

We complete in a month. That gives us time to find a tenant for our current house. Hope it goes well for you Noddy.

We failed to sell our current house earlier this year so we're renting it out till prices start going back up.
