Remortgage Completion - Credit Check

Hi,

I'm just looking for some advice & hoping I'm worrying for no reason.
We had our mortgage offer approved Nov 2020 for a remortgage in which I'm buying out a previous partner & adding my fiancé.
This can't complete before 1st May 2021 due to the early redemption charges.
The mortgage is with Nationwide. Do they do another credit check before completion?
My reason for asking is, since the mortgage offer, we have had to increase an overdraft on one account by £300 & have also an extra £300 on a credit card we had at the time of application. With our broker we had said we would have these debts paid off by the time of completion, however due to some house repairs this has not been the case.
Does anyone know of this could cause problems with completion?
We can possibly fully pay off one debt by May but not both.

If you've already had the remortgage approved and have the offer then they would normally not do another credit search. I worked for Nationwide in mortgages for years up until 2009 and we certainly wouldn't at that point, once the offer is issued that would be it...unless the offer expired.
