Washer Dryer blowing fuse - repair or replace?

We bought a new build house 2.5 years ago that came with all new appliances but the appliances had been purchased 2 years before that, so well out of warrantee.

As of yesterday, the Bosche Serie 6 washer dryer is tripping the switch in the fuse panel every time the machine is turned on. It trips about 60 seconds after the machine is turned on even if no program is selected and run.

I have tried plugging it in to a different socket so definitely the machine not the socket.

Our experience of trying to have appliances repaired is that it just wastes money and time. Call out fee, parts and then the recommendation seems to be to replace anyway.

So really just looking for advice, is this type of failure easy to diagnose and repair or will we end up replacing lots of parts in vain?

Our Siemens dishwasher had a power fault earlier this year and we paid over £200 having it repaired only for the same part to break and we were advised to replace. So speaking from bitter experience here!!

It's not really a fuse.

What are all the letters and numbers printed on the device that trips, and how wide is it?

A photo will help.

When my washer did this it was the heating element that needed to be replaced. So probably something which could be fixed I'd say.

The panel with the switch that gets tripped says it's a EZ9E12MCU. Pic attached. There are two of these panels, one for the top floor and first floor and one for the ground floor and basement (new build townhouse).

Google told me it's often the heating element but I'd assume it isn't that because the switch is tripping around 60 secs after turning on the machine without it actually running.

It's the "Sockets downstairs" that trips.

And it's 39cm wide - sorry, missed that question!

EZ9E12MCU is the box.

Inside are about a dozen devices

what is written on the device that trips?

How much would it cost to replace?

£200 min to try to fix it - or use that cash for something cheap and cheerful - how many advanced settings do you ever use?

Might just need de-fluffing. My ancient Miele used to do that, we took out the two filters and cleaned them and took the top off and gave it a good clean. It's been fine ever since.
