Thinking of moving to a house which will need a lot of work.. does anyone have any idea how much it is to store stuff while renovations are done please?

Midlands area... prices online hard to find

I think big yellow storage usually shows prices online. I think I will be doing the same for an upcoming move so it's something I'll need to look into.
When I did it 6 years ago it was £100 per month for a 2 bed flat in South London, so maybe slightly more than that now.

My friend got quotes recently. Cheapest was £80 pm, most expensive was £160pm.

We paid £200 pcm in 2019 for storage for contents of 2 bed bungalow. We included some clothes because we were abroad initially. We could have paid slightly less for a smaller unit but I didn't want it absolutely ram jam full. I wanted to be able to see where things were. We are Greater Manchester. The units were very secure and we had access 7 days week but not 24 hours. The company was very professional. They loaned us use of a large transit van for free to take our furniture to the unit. (Obviously subject to us providing driving license, etc.)

*approx £200. Probably a bit less. No more, cannot remember exactly. We only stored items for approx 4 weeks. Was able to renew every 2 weeks if necessary so not tied into a lengthy contract.

I was quoted £100 a month for a small unit in the Midlands. I contacted a local firm I had used to move us before and they came out to quote.

Just had 3 quotes in the SW for a 3 bedroom house; 2 came in at £240 per month and one at £360 per month. All including VAT.
