Help me find a dining table!!

We're after a new dining table. Love the reclaimed wood/farmhouse kitchen style with benches. Easy you say? Just Google and loads pop up! True, except husband insists he wants to see the table in person and most of the ones I'm seeing are online stores only (and are obviously way cheaper than ones in store frustratingly for me...)
So I need your help! Hit me with suggestions of shops I can go to that sell quality dining tables of a farmhouse/rustic style that don't cost the earth! Can travel around 1.5 hours from new forest to visit. Table can be second hand/vintage etc, dh just needs to be able to see it!
Thanks in advance

Have you tried Facebook Marketplace, Ebay or Gumtree? There's loads near me, from both private sellers and small businesses who have refurbed them.

Auction house?
Ones local to us will allow viewing in person beforehand but bidding on the day must be done remotely. You can always leave a bid when you view.

Oh dear. This is just the style of furniture we like, and I think you'll struggle to find anywhere with a showroom.

Take a look at these guys: newforestrusticfurniture.co.uk/
I can't recommend personally as I've never bought from them (though am considering). They allow collections from their workshop, and if you call them, might let you go and see something ready for dispatch? I mean, they can only say no, right?

Second vote for auction house. Go to thesaleroom.com and find one near you.

Loaf currently have some lovely farmhouse style tables and their showrooms are open.
I saw this in the flesh in their Guilford showroom recently and its stunning, even nicer in reality-

Highly recommend Vale Furnishers. They also have two showrooms with different stock near each other

Back when I got my farmhouse table with benches, I had a look via Etsy for ideas and can across Mark Gates (www.markgates.com/) who we then went with directly (to avoid Etsy’s added fees).

Hi.. my husband made ours.. was way cheaper than the shops. Several boards of decent wood which we sanded down and waxed, ordered some black iron type legs and fitted it all together. Cost probably half or even a third of the shop prices and we could make it to the exact size we wanted with a matching bench! My DH isn’t a joiner or anything (office worker) and he made a very decent job of it.

If you're ever over in Essex I visited Farmhouse Furniture's showroom and that was LOVELY! They're on Instagram (I'll pop the link below). Fell in love with it all!

Lots of reclamation yards will make one up to your preferred size.

Jet888,

Try Victoriana Pine in Southsea.
