Hi All,

We currently live in west London and would like to move to a nice residential area in bexley or bexley Heath area . Was wondering if you can let me know good areas too look for a house. I saw a few on Margaret road and pen lane just so I could be stone throw away from the park and was wondering if it is good . My boy is just a year old and in the long run would like to be close to good schools too..
Please help!

Thanks!

Personally I wouldn't choose somewhere around that area (Penn Lane etc) because you are right on top of the A2. Unless you are happy to put up with constant traffic noise and the pollution that comes with it.

Hey hello, I know it’s an old thread but did you manage to find a good area that tick the school and area boxes?

We are in a similar position...

Thanks!

Hi depends what you want. Bexley village is nice but not much there. Bexleyheath has the shopping centre and is busier, also a leisure centre with pool and danson Park which is lovely. Sidcup gets a lot of recommendations but I don't know it well. Lots of quiet residential areas around Bexleyheath and Sidcup. Erith, Abbey Wood and Thamesmead are not so nice i would say.

Bexley is very nice - and much more upmarket than Bexleyheath. I like Sidcup too - I'd move to Sidcup or Bexley in a heartbeat.
