Sandblasting

My house is painted and we need to remove this before we can have it rendered. The problem I have is neighbors that complain about EVERYTHING! Is there another way of removing the paint that won’t create so much mess as to cause upset?

I was wondering if anyone else has had work done like this? And how did they go about it? Am I going to just have to go round and just talk to them and just go down the mess limitation route. I hate talking to them as they usually have a list of complaints when I do.
We’re not a loud family, kids don’t scream in garden all day/play loud music. They complained about us having a bbq at 6pm and for doing it 2 nights in a row! This kind of thing. Yet they can have one whenever they want. I’m aware sandblasting is messy and would annoy the most chilled person.

I’d let them know in advance with the dates and timings so they can plan around that. If they are still difficult, then I’m afraid they probably won’t ever be better.

Don't the builders put up scaffolding and hang drapes of some sort?

A local shop had it done but had a little cherry picker I think they’re called. There was no scaffolding or drapes when they did it? Maybe depending on company doing it?

Anybody else I’d offer to have windows cleaned car washed etc. But we’ve spent hundreds/thousands fixing fences etc which we had to unless we put up with broken bodged and dangerous fixtures which obviously they’re more than happy when they don’t put their hands in there pockets but even after this they still huff and puff slam she’d doors when we dare to use the garden. So even trying to be right with them doesn’t go well lol I do wonder if I’d be as stressed about it if we had better neighbors.

When we needed some paint removing from bricks - only a relatively small area at the side of the house, the builders used a chemical that was painted on and special expensive sheets were applied over the top.
It worked very slowly on the more textured bits.
