I'm divided over whether I should get a (near) boiling hot water tap in our new kitchen. I want traditional brass taps, and I don't think there is really a nice design of a traditional brass 3-in-1 tap, so I think it would have to be a separate small brass tap just for hot water. And the only option I can find is Perrin & Rowe
- Does anyone have the Perrin & Rowe mini hot water tap? Any good?
- Is it a problem that it's near boiling, not actually boiling?
- The tap has quite a small capacity (less than 2.4l); I like to make a big pot of tea in the morning and currently my big tea pot holds 3 litres! I appreciate this might be a good opportunity to cut back on my caffeine but how well does making big pots of tea work with a hot tap? Is it ok to be regularly emptying the whole hot water tank to make a pot? Or would I be better sticking with a traditional kettle?
