Would these chairs look ok with this table?

I’ve been looking at new dining chairs and can’t make a decision. DH is no help as he has decided the safest option is to just say he likes whatever I show him Grin. I was going to go with an Eames type chair but then I saw these - do you think they would work with this table?

They’re different styles and materials. Might look a bit odd.

I would say no, sorry! They’re nice chairs but I think with that table they will look very meeting/conference.

No, sorry. Too different In style and also tone.

No, they're two very different styles
If you have your heart set on the table I think a Scandi style chair might be a better fit

Both are very nice choices and the chairs look comfy but I am just not sure if I would put them together. What is the rest of the room like? Are there any other color options for the chairs? I would look for something lighter unless the dark grey chairs match something else you already have in the room.

Thanks! I did wonder if they weren’t quite right! Anyone want to suggest any others? Dining room isn’t decorated yet so colours/lighting still to choose. Floor will be wood so I wanted colour on the chairs so it doesn’t get too woody!

The last one looks like a canteen/office chair. Not for home, sorry

I like the second chair, they'd work with the table.

Personally I can't see the logic of upholstered dining chairs, unless you can guarantee that no small children are going to wipe their foody fingers on them.

Good point Babamama! Grin definitely not past that stage yet!

I assume you have the table? Have a look at this link, the mix looks great I think!

No to the first chair, yes to the second

Neither chair for me. The first look very high as well, like they may squash (my fat) thighs. I think the contrast between styles is too much. If you have young kids you may be better off with something like an oil cloth table covering for the colour element and then wooden chairs. Have you got the table already? It looks a bit picnic table ish, so a bench and a couple of chairs may work (or put it firmly in campsite territory...)

Will definitely be investing in tablecloth! Yes we already have the table

No, the styles are different, chair is too bulky for that table and too light/dark.

Legs of second chair good, seat looks like dentist waiting room...

I'd go more this style if you want upholstered... sort of scandi and light wood to match the table.. but looks comfortable.. maybe in a mix of the fabric colours it comes in?

I can see the link- I think they might be over budget! I’ll check timewasting’s suggestion on the laptop as I can’t see a picture ( I’m on the phone)
