Where could I shove a dryer?

Options are, re design the understairs cupboard, somehow fit into the porch with a downstairs loo, in the kitchen instead of a dishwasher?

Without other info I'd choose in the porch with a downstairs loo. Not the understairs cupboard because of humidity issues.

I was going to say shed in the garden lol. Definitely wouldn't forgo a dishwasher for a dryer. I quite like the dryer being outside even though it's a bit of a pain, for the fire risk.

We did the cupboard under the stairs and a condensing one. We put it on wheels so could still access storage at the back for longer term. Works better than you think!

Could you stack it on top of your washing machine? We have done this and it works really well, but we are a tall household!

I would definitely not give up the dishwasher! In our old smaller place we had a combined washer dryer to save space - took a while but worker fine!

We went with a condenser under the stairs.
Never had a dishwasher and never needed one.

I’m in a small 3 bed terrace house As well and had the same problem and so I didn’t get one for years. But i struggled to wash and dry for 3 and just put up with washing drying everywhere.
I ended up getting a washer/dryer combo in January and I love it. It has changed my life. If I had the space I would definitely have separate machines but space here is so limited the washer dryer is ideal. I think they must work better now than the older ones and it’s great you can put it on to dry immediately after a wash without having to touch it. Wish I’d bought one years ago but everyone told me they weren’t very good but mine works well.

I'd go with the porch or under the stairs condenser option. Do not get rid of the dishwasher!

We used to have a washer drier in our old tiny flat. It worked well for the first year ish then it stopped getting hot enough to dry properly. That was about 7 years ago though. We too had heard they were rubbish and went for it anyway. We were glad we did, but it just wasn't as good as a separate drier. As long as you don't have huge expectations it's a good option.

I have a Beko it wouldn’t have been my first choice but due to our unsual kitchen dimensions it was one of the few that would fit under our benchtops

I would definitely keep it out of the kitchen if you can, such a pain. A cupboard with a condenser?
