Kitchen wall cupboard lights/downlighters

Has anyone bought kitchen cabinet lights recently? I have just had a new kitchen fitted and the small LED lights we were going to fit at the bottom underneath the cabinets throw out next to no light at all - they certainly wouldn’t light any area to do anything effective. Has anyone bought any lights which actually light the countertops? Thanks very much.

Use LED strip lights. Dead easy to fit and really bright even coverage

What size are the bulbs? Uprate then if possible? Use LED ones with less heat emissions. Not halogen.

MarieG10 do you mean the LED lights on a strip of paper? Thanks.

Mine are fine. Wouldn’t be bright enough if I didn’t have ceiling lights on though.

Ooh, I want to know this too. IKEA does good bright ones but they're quite bulky and not hard-wired though I suppose you could.

I could use some help with this.

I’ve realised too late that I need some under one cupboard but they need to be battery operated. Any ideas?
