I accepted £7k less than asking price on my property. I found a house I loved and these were cash buyers so i thought quick sale. They had the Home Buyers Survey done. It came back with damp in one room which i knew it would. I had quotes last year for the work and it was £800-£1000. There are also a couple of cracks in one bedroom. These also came up in the survey when I bought the house, but the surveyor told me it wasnt an issue and to be expected in an old house. The buyer is now proposing that he pay me £5k less than the agreed price. I am not sure why he is dropping the price that much and he is just trying to bamboozle me with figured and his smooth talking. Is he being a CF?
