I know Stoke Newington in London is an expensive area but really!

I'm assuming it's currently rented out and the landlord doesn't want to miss out on a penny of his/her rent.

Wow! Is it a repossession maybe? No one would be happy with those pictures surely??

And £1.25 million!! I know it is right in London but even so, who affords these (dumps) properties?

KatherinaMinola Fri 06-Apr-18 13:50:44

Slum landlord I think. But they could have opened the curtains and cleaned the toilet! It's almost as if they made it look as bad as it possibly could - perhaps a strategy on the tenants' part?

The only time I can look around my two bed terrace and truthfully think its better than a house costing £1million+, so cheers for this

Yup. grin

MilkTrayLimeBarrel Fri 06-Apr-18 13:51:51

It would be the bathroom with that disgusting loo which would put me off! All the fittings are so cheap looking and it would take you for ever to clear the 'garden'!!

Youcouldbemysilversprings Fri 06-Apr-18 13:54:44

Holy crap batman! You could buy that for about £50k where I live in Northern Ireland 😳

NinonDeLenclos Fri 06-Apr-18 13:55:57

That's just the standard London price for a house that size not too far from the centre.

Whatthefoxgoingon Fri 06-Apr-18 13:57:08

Oh god that’s grim. Welcome to London folks!

I thank my stars a million times we bought our London house before prices went stratospheric.

Alwayslumpyporridge Fri 06-Apr-18 13:57:25

Why did the vendors approve those photo's! they are awful, not even putting down the toilet lid, yuck. I hope that it doesn't sell.

SurfnTerfFantasticmissfoxy Fri 06-Apr-18 13:59:49

Even tidy it'd be a shit hole - over a million quid!!

Rafflesway Fri 06-Apr-18 14:00:36

Unreal! 😱😱😱

MayFayner Fri 06-Apr-18 14:01:05

It's rented and the tenants were still in situ when photos were taken.

EasterBunBun Fri 06-Apr-18 14:01:22

It was the hideous faux stone cladding on the front that makes that price a joke, even for Zone 2. That's a bit more than a clear up and a lick of paint :/

And the loo lid up <shudders>

StarUtopia Fri 06-Apr-18 14:02:53

What a shithole!

You could have this near me instead...

Nice house

Knittedfairies Fri 06-Apr-18 14:04:54

Maybe they did tidy up...

iMatter Fri 06-Apr-18 14:05:33

What a shithole.

And what a mess.

And the loo seat up <boak>

Thisnamechanger Fri 06-Apr-18 14:05:45

I living within spitting distance of this house...it is an expensive area but I'd be surprised if they got that much for it.

Thishatisnotmine Fri 06-Apr-18 14:06:02

How much?!

BitOutOfPractice Fri 06-Apr-18 14:06:24

StarUtopia isn't that gorgeous?

UpstartCrow Fri 06-Apr-18 14:06:36

I grew up in a house like that. £1.25 million! <faints>

stinksworth Fri 06-Apr-18 14:08:38

🤢 the toilet.

Bluntness100 Fri 06-Apr-18 14:09:33

Fairly typical pricing for location, the owners will take their shit with them.

I wouldn't automatically asssume renters, it could be the owners, some people live like that and don't see a problem with it. That might even be it tidy.

BitOutOfPractice Fri 06-Apr-18 14:09:40

This is what you'd get for the same money near me

That's 40 minutes outside London

Doublechocolatetiffin Fri 06-Apr-18 14:10:02

Wow, that is an awful lot of money for such a shit hole. Even in that part of London (admittedly I don’t know the area well) it seems like the vendor is dreaming.

Doublechocolatetiffin Fri 06-Apr-18 14:12:41

I’d rather buy this one two streets over for £100k less and with an extra bedroom.

Doublechocolatetiffin Fri 06-Apr-18 14:12:50

Hey - Check out this property I found via the Zoopla App -
