Blackstone Kitchens - anyone had any experience

Hi, we are in the middle of a side return and trying to find a kitchen! Oh it's tricky. We have looked at Howdens, Magnet, Neptune and DeVol. Finally we looked at Blackstone Kitchens, which seem relatively new. They have come up with a brilliant design and the kitchens seem sturdy - real wood etc. The price is also about £10k less than DeVol. But they seem relatively unheard of - does anyone have any experience with them - good or bad?
Thank you

Hi Soph, did you use Blackstone in the end? We visited their showroom recently and thought they looked lovely.

We're going with Blackstone kitchens. We visited their showroom in Colchester. After seeing OP. I immediately fell in love with their kitchens. We're still in the planning stage, before being signed off. Hoping for installation at the end of January.

Hey Soph, did you get a blackstone kitchen in the end? I’m worried because a few people have withdrawn there comments on this thread?? Did you all have a good experience and are you happy with the end result? We’re about to pay a deposit soon and the lead times are quite long everywhere so I need to decide. It’s so hard to know....

We went Blackstone and SO thrilled with it!! Service and product is impeccable. We finished the install last week, honestly so so happy. Feel free to ask any questions.

@Kefel is the centre of the top oven and coffee machine higher than your shoulder ?
And can you easily get things out of the left side of the fridge ?

itsundermypillow · 30/06/2020 18:15

Oh and do you plan to have children sitting behind the hob while you cook?

Report
Kefel · 30/06/2020 21:58

@itsundermypillow yes, yes, and I don't have children. Why do you ask?

Report

because an oven or heat producing coffee machine higher than shoulder height is dangerous. As is sitting behind a hob and fridge freezers need space each side so the doors can open wide enough to pull drawers out for cleaning. If you look at the instruction manual that should say how much space is needed to left of it.
