Does anyone have any? Are they just very heavy duty curtains like wool? Velvet?

I would suggest a heavy weight fabric then lined and underlined. Never been asked about noise reducing though usually draft reducing . Hope that helps

What about secondary glazing? Otherwise you want interlined curtains.

We have ones that do reduce noise, but not called noise reducing - we have a blind at the window, then a blackout curtain lining (night shift worker sleeps in day) then lined curtains - no light, no traffic noise.

I think secondary glazing is the best tbh. No curtains will even do half the job but you'll get some benefit from a ing as many layers as poss (as described above).

Great thank you, I think secondary glazing is a good option.
