Venetian blind recommendations?

I'm looking to get Venetian blinds for a bay window. I'd like to save a bit of money by buying them online and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good company who could make them?

As always : Blinds2go.
We bought 6 blinds for two bay window last month, our 4th purchase from them. They are made to the exact measurements of your window, have a huge choice and are competitively priced.
There is on line measuring and fitting advice and they arrived exactly when expected.

Have you seen Perfect Fit Venetian blinds? We got ours last year and love the neatness of them.

Happy with Blinds2Go. They are very quick to send fabric samples and I think it was less than 2 weeks from order to delivery

Just bought 6 blinds from Blinds2Go, delivered in 10 days, cost me £399 in total. No issues, they look great.

Thank you all so much! I've never bought blinds before, so never heard of Blinds2Go. They look great!

Are they easy to fit once they have arrived?

That’s where we got our blinds too. I measured up myself but got a handy man to put them up. However, it does seem like a DIY job and not rocket science really.

So I am ordering 3 blinds for a bay window - one large, two small. The angle of each side of the bay is about 45 degrees. How much of a gap should I leave between them?

There is a measuring guide for bay windows on the website

whiskyowl · 19/02/2018 15:37

Thanks awkward - I hadn't found it, but Google located it for me!

We have the ones with ribbon tapes from blinds2go (after mumsnet recommendation!) and they’re fab.

I bought wooden Venetian blinds from this company www.blinds-factorydirect.co.uk/ in 2004 and they are still perfect! Very large bay window in front room, large middle section and two smaller windows each side.

Have to say, I'm unimpressed with Blinds2Go so far. Ordered a load of samples, and they've sent me a completely different set, which aren't even for venetian blinds! Given that I'm in a hurry to get these ordered, it's a bit annoying! Angry

You could always try Cedar Blinds Ltd next time. They make wonderful blinds and come to measure and fit them for no extra cost to you. I've had all my blinds from them and I love them all!!
